I have had rather an amazing time. Having recently finished another book, I was very fortunate to be offered an interview with a delightful lady called Kate Delaney who is a very experienced radio interviewer in the U.S.A. This is all incredibly exciting because Kate has broadcast everywhere from the slums of Guayaquil, Ecuador to a whale-watching boat in Maui, Hawaii. America Tonight also broadcasts from Washington, D.C. every year taking the conversation to the Capitol, talking to the lawmakers about the issues that concern listeners; it airs Monday through Saturday and reaches 2.9 million listeners; when she’s not on the air Kate’s out speaking about the importance of cutting through the clutter when we communicate. Today Kate is a top business and motivational speaker whose unique background, common sense, and straight forward approach opens the hearts and minds of her audiences, and challenges them to become proactive. When she is not on the air, Kate is out speaking about the importance of cutting through the clutter when we communicate. Four former Presidents and Lebron James are just a few of the 16,000 people in her twenty years in radio and television that Kate Delaney has interviewed; she has broadcast from places all over the United States and the world, and is one of the first women ever to host a solo Sports Radio Talk Show in a Top 10 market. Kate is delightfully easy to talk to and wonderfully encouraging and enthusiastic; I was so pleased to receive this email from her following a zoom call I had with her… I think she must work all day and most of the night! To Penelope What a lovely email. Thank you for participating and adding to the group. I am so fired up to read your blogs. You have a lot of wisdom to share with the World. “A Bun Dance” is a fantastic title and really could be a fantastic hit in Christian book stores all over the Globe, not just in the U.K. I also think your book Hope in the Valley on grieving is so important. Losing a loved one is so unbearable and if your book gives people comfort it needs to be out there now more than ever. So I am feeling incredibly fortunate, and have to pinch myself to make sure it is really happenin!g to me. The next blog I post will be about the book which has the rather strange title that Kate mentioned – do you ‘get’ it?All will be revealed next week.
